To me, it's not sad, there's not a void. There's a new relationship that's been born. It may not go anywhere, they may never see each other again, but each knows the other has strong feelings for them. That's how I see it, too. I think the void was something both Bob and Charlotte had in themselves...

I don't know if I would want to watch a sequel, no matter how well done it's thought to be. It was a once in a lifetime experience, for both Bob and Charlotte, I think and it should be fleeting. A sequel would make the original seem that much less genuine. Certain movies should not have a follow up ...

That was very well said, Atlas. I've heard a few people describe it like that - a wonderful feeling or memory that can last forever because reality will never get in the way and ruin it. Thanks. I'm just glad it was somewhat understandable. It's difficult to articulate a feeling. That's what makes ...

A lot of people here describe that feeling as like being kicked in the stomach. It's how I felt at the end. [ ... ] Another way I've heard it described is being in a trance - that seems to last for several days. Hard to get it out of your mind. That's a great description. There's a reaction on a fe...

I wasn't a huge Stones fan anyway but I just wanted to go to a stadium concert and see what it was like. That's it exactly. A stadium is so different than a smaller venue. If the music is good the show is usually better off in a bigger place, huge crowds and all. I'm not a huge Rolling Stones fan, ...

I saw the Rolling Stones in concert for the first time a while ago and it was one of the best shows to which I've ever been, right behind Dylan. They still gave a good performance regardless of their age; I was surprised. I would've loved to be alive in the sixties and seventies and seen them in con...

That's too bad; the only songs of his that I know of are from that album.

How about the Traveling Wilburys? They do a good cover of 'My Back Pages', but Dylan's is better. Though, Gram Parsons/Flying Burrito Brothers did a version of 'To Ramona' that I liked.

I just watched the movie, The Life Aquatic I mean and it was quite a good movie. At least they tried to be somewhat original and there are some very funny, smart jokes that might go unnoticed and unappreciated by some people. Bill dancing to the techno music and fighting off pirates with a color sp...

There's definitely Doors in my collection, I think about four or five albums. I actually have their first album on vinyl. (CDs and .mp3/.m4a files have better sound quality but records have more personality.) I notice a lot of Vietnam films use the same music. 'For What It's Worth' is always playing...

I'm taking it to my grave.
