I'm confident in saying that those shots were just shots taken, and not meant to be part of the "story".... no one would figure something like that out (unless they're intimate with the city). man......... thinking about the movie, I have to watch LiT again tonight. I hate you guys! (kidding!!)

I've tried that (going on four times now with three different people) and they never respond or say they don't have it.wiggle wrote:Find someone that speaks Japanese and try and order one at their website.A moment of silence wrote:

Did you want the gift shop one? I don't know where to find that on the DVD... I made these big so you can resize to whatever you want. I still plan on getting you the story behind your owl! http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/2995/gift4po.th.jpg http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/7612/duh2gf.th.jpg http:...

Thanks for the interest, but I think there are enough interested people now that the owl has found a home. Some of you asked about the Suntory. I have the contact info for the store I went to, and can call them up, but keep in mind it is already an expensive whiskey. Suntory wouldn't pay Bob a milli...

Bob buys this owl from the hospital gift store. That's fine, but when I tried tracking this owl down in Tokyo, I couldn't find it anywhere! I finally found it on the 5th floor of a special high-end toys store, and most of them were tiny. There are 3 sizes, and the one Bob buys is a large. The small ...

Re: suntory time!
Yeah, I picked up a bottle of the same whisky at Narita for I think 4700 yen. There are different types but the one from the film is definatly the 17yr old. That is a total load of crock. First, this particular make of Suntory is fairly difficult to find (took a small army of hotel staff to locate ...

Owl (found a home)...
Hello, a friend pointed me to this site as I posted a thread regarding the owl I picked up last summer while in Tokyo. http://www.clonesix.com/temp/owl.jpg After visiting half a dozen toy stores, and having my concierge call up a dozen more, I finally found this one owl. I know the one in the movie ...
