When I saw the movie for the first time five years ago, I watched it maybe 7 or 8 times fairly soon afterwards. Then I basically left it alone. I enjoyed LIT more than just about any other movie I can think of but figured I would get on with my life. After not having seen it for several years, I was...

Hey Pitman. Good to see you're still alive and kicking. I think that's an inspired choice. But it's hard to imagine anyone but Bill Murray doing that role. George Clooney and Natalie Portman? Clooney isn't a goofy as Murray obviously, but he can do comedy. Plus it would be hard to believe that Cloon...

Hey y'all.

I just saw Bill in The Life Aquatic (2004). I thought he was good in that. Not close to the LIT level but it was solid.

A cute little clip based on the premium fantasy scene. Basically just stylized subtitles but if you're a fan of LIT you might like it.

Yeah, I have a love-hate relationship with Facebook and Myspace. I'm not into the compulsive friend-adding, or the pointless status updates but I have to admit that having a Facebook page allowed me to reconnect with two old friends -- real friends! I hadn't seen these people in 15 years so it was r...

Great minds think alike. I just came on here to post the same video.

It's got an almost LiT feel to it with the wistful music that is used.

I can understand the desire to have a meditation aid. It seems so hard to do it without any help. I've had a little experience with the Hemi-sync system. It's pretty cool for sure, but it didn't really grab me enough to buy it. I guess it's just an individual choice. I prefer the traditional meditat...

Welcome you newcomers to LIT. I just saw it for the first time last fall and agree that it's an incredible movie that packs a powerful emotional punch. I like it when art influences life and makes you think (and re-think) your worldview. Some of my favourite spots represented here too which is nice....

As of today, you can see all the skits on youtube. NBC will have them removed eventually.

Here's one

IMO, they're pretty dull.

Here's the comedic highlight -- the SNL Digital Short (no Scarlett tho)

THe Digital Short WAS hilarious. They usually are. I think that's because they put more prep work and thinking into them. The skits are pretty lame in comparison. For me the highlight was Scarlett's singing bit in the opening monologue. She's a great singer and I'm just mesmerized by her. She's real...

Those guys are single dimensional goofs. I suspect they are also just young -- although I was never like that. They say that guys can have non-physical friendships with women only if they aren't attracted to her. This is basically true. I have friendships with women, but I have never wanted to sleep...

It does sound appropriate. I just hope Scarlett manages to get over the down mood left over from the V tech shootings this week. Usually SNL lampoons the news, as they did last week with the Imus thing. This week, they can't conceivably deal with it humorously. Maybe they can make up of the excessiv...

I'm a big fan of that Verve album. And I like your video a lot. Its very enjoyable to see that scene with new ears, as it were. It's better than anything I could have done. Thing is, there is a presence to the Ashcroft vocals that introduces a confusion in the viewer of the film. I think one reason ...

Thanks for that. Great story. To me, these are the kinds of relationships that are the essence of being alive. The ones never fulfiled contain that sense of longing that stay in one's heart. I have had that with a couple of people. One a long distance relationship, the other more like this one. We m...

I was alone too. I only just saw it for the first time last year so I missed the whole theatre experience.

I don't think I would have liked it as much in the theatre. It's a very private intimate sort of movie.

Amen to the sequel idea. I'm secretly hoping Sofia has a string of less-than-stellar movies that forces her to consider this once-impossible possibility.

Happy New Year.

I just saw Eternal Sunshine. Great movie. Not in the same class as LIT, but provocative and interesting, if a little frantic and gimmicky at times. I found both characters sympathetic. Joel is an introvert -- I can relate to that. Clementine is a bit kooky and impulsive. Maybe those are classic male...

She's special alright -- she was born on the day of a solar eclipse. It's too bad that she has become so popular. At least, that's how I see it. She's doing shampoo commercials (see my topic in appearances) now and starting to resemble a archtypical hollywood starlet. Maybe she's no different from a...
