I introduced the movie to a friend at work. She fell asleep half-way through the movie and found it borring. I guess there's just no accounting for taste! same thing happened to me, I lent the DVD to a younger work colleage and she turned it off after 20 minutes cause she was bored. Another ...

I really enjoyed this movie, heaps of throw away oneliners and over the tops action. I can feel a sequel coming on.

I think that is the most obvious part of the movie, that Charlotte is really Sofia. I wonder who the real guy was that she met in japan. He is one lucky man. Also I personally don't think she is as smart as the character of Charlotte is meant to be (philosophy degree and all), though she probably i...

yeah, Ghostworld was the first time I had ever noticed Scarlett. This movie was unerving for me as I really related to the Thora Birch character. Scarletts voice sounds a lot deeper in this movie? wonder if it was intentional?

Or does it mean that there just isnt any women out there like Charlotte?

From my own personal experience and seeing other boards the people that actually like/get this movie are in the minority. The people that dont get it, the majority, I think were expecting another outrageous slapstick comedy from Bill Murray. Boy were they dissappointed.

Thats the beauty of this movie, nobody gets it, just us special people that congregate here.

I watched the movie again last night and I really noticed the long periods of quiet, no talking, no sound, just glances between two people, it was beautiful.

I dont know who you are Guest, but that is one of the most inciteful posts I have read in my life.

Just when you think you have worked out people, someone does something that always surprises.

You should join up Guest.

At what point are you being unfaithful? Is it just thinking about another person other than your partner. Is it an accidental meeting and connecting with someone. Everyone seems to have different views on where the line is drawn on a relationship. As I have said in previous posts that most people ar...

Its definitely changed me. Im being more open to others that I am less familar and comfortable with. Its been a joy cause I have recieved more back in return. I have definitely thought of working in the travel industry after watching LIT, to get closer to the action? I dont know why but when I first...

I had a friend who was unhappy with his life and job. He decided to take 18 months off work and travel overseas to find himself. The first few months we got emails every week that he was in this city, or he was in this ski field, or going off somewhere else. Then the emails changed, he had met some ...

I think Charlotte's character is very smart. She knows the boundaries and how far she can push it without going over the line. Its better to have loved and lost than never having loved at all, even in the platonic form. See this way you still get the adrenelin rush of meeting/connecting with someone...

Actually if you are a LITholic, this CD does nothing to help you break your addiction. You will lose freinds and family as they question your sanity. But you dont care, you take your little peice of heaven with you everywhere, in the car, the computer at work, the computer at home. You become a LIT ...
