Bob's watch

Does anyone know what make and model of watch Bob is wearing?

It's the silver one you can see in a few scenes.

Re: Theory: Spike Jonze made "Her" in response to LIT and divorce from Sofia

I have heard that theory. They are both great movies and would make a good double-header. I have also heard the Lost in Translation characters are based on the following people: Charlotte = Sofia Coppola John = Spike Jones Kelly = Cameron Diaz, Kelly mentions the bay of pigs and Diazs' father is hal...

Did anyone want to go and live in Japan after watching LIT?

This movie started a now long held interest in all things Japan and I have thought about the idea of moving there someday.

So I was wondering if anyone else had similar feelings? Or maybe some members already live in Japan?

Yeah I was just watching that yesterday and was going to post it but looks like you beat me to it. Interesting section on the whisper. I don't think he's ever publically said revealed what he said. Speaking of which what is the general consensus on what he said? Also here's another talk show he did ...

Hey I added another track - Elvis Costello's version of (What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding as I'm pretty sure that's the karaoke version Bob is singing. It's much more of a rock song than the Nick Lowe version.
Plus I prefer that version to Nick Lowe's anyway.

£300  yeah think that's out my price range for now... Can you just visit the hotel bar from the movie though if you are not a guest? Maybe that would be a better option. I too live in UK so I know you can fly direct from London for around £500-600. As you said I'm sure there's much cheaper ho...

Hey thanks for the invite. I've gone through the list and noticed 1 song I had was missing. The song is "Blue Atmosphere" it's the mellow Jazz music playing in the background at the bar when Bob and Charlotte first talk. It's track number 13 on the list. Hope this helps. Also great work on getting t...

Great pictures!

I too would like to Visit Tokyo someday, I might just have to travel there alone as I am not sure too many people would want to go.
Not sure I would be able to afford staying at the Park Hyatt hotel though, how much is it a night?

Wow seems like this film really hits people hard after watching - I'm glad I'm not the only one. It's great reading this forum and seeing other people have had similar feelings to yourself. For me no other films takes you on a emotional journey with as many mixed emotions as LIT. Right from the open...

I always like watching it very late at night from about 1am onwards. I watch it alone usually with a nice glass of bourbon. Something about the dark quiet nights really adds to the atmosphere of the the viewing experience. It's a wonderful. Also I'm new - let's get some activity going back here as w...
