I've seen the movie 17 times so far I think. Of course now my viewings are further between. But what I find is if I want to still get into the movie and become absorbed into it, I use all the tools at my disposal to get the most out of it. Such as, only viewing the movie alone and late at night; tu...

I find it rather pathetic that someone would hack this forum, given that it's not even a really large, well known one. Anyway, I'm glad it's working alright now. :)

Funnily enough, I was looking on imdb yesterday to see whether LiT was in the top 250 list. I was slightly dissapointed that it wasn't, but I'm not anymore because I agree with you lot now, that it's a personal film, so.. :)

I'm certainly with everyone here who's said that to really try to isolate a favorite moment would probably result in rattling off a list of every scene in the film... That said, I am pretty much always moved to at least one tear during the karaoke scene when Charlotte sheepishly smiles as Bob turns...

The world does tend to disappear when the movie is on... so no, your not alone :D Aye aye! :) The first time I watched I was alone and it was at night (something like 9-11, on C4). For me, that was 'best time' I've watched it, because I was alone and able to full appreciate how great a film it was!...

Re: holding hands

Seems like a nice little coincidence to me.

Oh, and I agree with what 'FindingCharlotte' said about the intimacy of holding hands, and the fact that Bob & Charlotte do it is really nice I think. :D

Going back to the original title of the thread... I think the ending was great, because it was exactly what was supposed to happen. Bob & Charlotte's time together had to end because their relationship was based upon the circumstances they were in. So, I just think the ending is very realistic, and ...

Aye thanks, I'm sure I will. It's great to be around other fans of LiT, I've not actually met many. :(

Welcome Bren! I think that most of us hope that Charlotte is smart enough to end a marriage that is so lacking, and since they don't have kids yet, it's okay to wish for a divorce. And while John will be sad, I think that he is surrounded by enough shallow beauties, that he won't be alone for long....

Nice. I did end up ripping the audio to mp3's, and I've been listening to them on my daily drive to work. I really enjoy it. You'd think it'd be safer than say, watching it on a portable dvd player...but I find myself picturing the action in my head to go along with the sound, and it might be just ...

I watched a fan video of this on youtube this morning and it looked alright (mostly because of the appearance of Scarlett :D ). It would be nice if the inclusion of "Mr Harris" was a nice reference to LiT.

I would *guess* that I have seen the movie about 25 or so times. I try to watch it at least once a month, but when I am cleaning or doing chores at home, I like to have it playing on the tv in the background. Sometimes I will sit and watch it if it's one of my favorite scenes (mainly, the karaoke s...

I never did like the scene(s) with the jazz singer, it just made me think that it might put Bob & Charlotte's relationship in jeopardy. :( As 'ForRelaxingTimes' said: "I don't believe it was because he wanted to sleep with Charlotte, their relationship goes deeper than that" Thats one of the great t...
