As for me, I finally took the plunge in September, walked out on my job and I'm now a student studying English Literature and Creative Writing! Who knows, in a couple of ...

i think this could be good for some kind of simulview, although i think just about everyone has a copy of lit here so perhaps if somebody had something that was related and interesting we could use this?

Zombieland

I've just seen this today, quite a funny movie. Was most surprised to see Bill Murray appear though! A pretty good cameo I thought. Anybody else seen this yet?

Stepping Stones

I've just been reminded that I had this photo over from my trip to Japan last year. Remember Charlotte's trip to Kyoto, walking across the stepping stones? Well these are the ones. Thought it might be of interest :-)

i've not seen cafe lumiere but I have to admit i'm quite taken by studio ghibli films and the work behind them. a couple of years ago i actually took a trip to the ghibli museum, a tiny little place in a leafy suburb. you have to buy your ticket in advance and they only let a set number of people in...

well it's not just LIT, theres a whole load of great titles waiting for a blu ray release. however, waiting a while may be best as the hd dvd transfer was pretty patchy and imho i'd rather wait out for a new master for a blu ray of LIT.

I just got the HD DVD version the other day (specifically picked up the player for this title). The menu/interface differs considerably from any other version in that the main menu consists of a standard Universal HDDVD interface with a montage of various clips from the movie playing in the centre p...

Both the western and Japanese menu is entrancing in their own seperate ways! I would be most interested to see if the HDDVD interface differs significantly from either of these!

sounds good. A 'wikipedia' feel would work well I feel, with small photos interspersed amongst text, so people can visually identify with the topic and what is being discussed within the text.
