if I had ever heard it outside the context of LiT for the first time, I probably would have hated it profusely The music in the movie is good, but i don't think i would listen to "Too Young" 459 times if it wasn't for LiT. When i hear that song, i think of that little party in the cramped apartment...

no problem! glad you like it

p.s. the way i did it was to pull apart each frame individually, change the brightness and contrast on each frame, then put them all back together and tween them...does anyone know a faster way to do this? (i'm still a newbie at adobe photoshop/imageready! ) :D

i think you have to become a member. then, when u log in, u can enlarge those stills...if not u can make ur own stills (if u have the DVD) there are plenty of programs (freeware) that will take stills for you

Well, there has to be a list, and maybe the good Bob will post it. well, before i became Charlie Brown, i asked Bob how many posts i needed to get there...he didn't want to tell me! (said it would ruin the surprise) Does that mean he won't post a list? Perhaps, but maybe we can change his mind with...

charlie brown is 150 posts...you can email bob and now you can change your status to anything u want!

jml2...there's no list or anything for the statuses, if that's what you mean. you just have to post and post and see what you get!

i've seen ghost world, just b/c scarlett was in it...a quirky little movie; pretty good, but it doesn't evoke that emotional response that LiT does; for those of you who haven't seen it, LITobsession is right: don't watch it with expectations

p.s. congrats on charlie brown status johnmonkey!

everyone gets the movie, and we all watch it on a pre-determined date and time. we all go to a chat room, most likely this site's chat, and can talk with each other during the movie...some are against the idea of LiT simulviews b/c it takes away from the experience, which i agree with to some extent...

There's a large difference between a PG-13 rating and an R rating. The R rating for Lost in Translation is used to create uncertainty, more specifically, whether or not Bob and Charlotte are going to have sex. We keep watching Lost in Translation because we want to find out how far their relationsh...

nice post! you brought to my attention some things that i hadn't noticed before...the last part about it being a flashback has been discussed, it is a very romantic way of looking at it indeed, sometimes when i'm in that kind of "mood", if you will, i think of it like that; other times i just think ...
