As for me, I don't particularly want to see an extended version if it explains the final scene. I'd rather make up my own decision about what was said and what happens after that. But, what I'd love to see in an extended film version are more scenes where Charlotte is exploring Tokyo and Kyoto, (lik...

Is the End another Beginning?

One of the reasons why LiT had such an impact on me was that it reflected a deeply held sentiment about my feelings of this life, specifically how as I age, I realize more and more how I do not want this journey to end. When the movie came to an inevitable end, where Bob and Charlotte were forced to...

Kite, have you been dancing around in the streets late at night lately? I have this image of you doing it...and it's pretty cool. If I were younger and didn't care what people thought, i'd be inclined to do the same thing! it sounds so liberating

Picking up this thread after several months of inactivity...I wanted to also mention about entering relationships...I've been there where you want to give everything you have to another, you would do anything for them. This is a very romantic and selfless gesture. But what I've found out is that if ...

Yeah, just another armchair wannabee philosopher. His concepts are rather childish and simplistic in particular, the Level 1 and Level 2 format. I think he must have read the books of Seth, or other similar "channelled" material. It's pure fiction. But hey, a lot of science fiction which predicted f...

Hey Mike! Nice to see old friends of the Forum return. I found this place after all the activity had calmed down. I missed the action right after the movie came out and only discovered the movie later...which brought me here.

Chunky? Why would you think I was chunky? That's pretty funny. What gave you that impression? I go to the gym almost everyday. I'm in good shape. I could stand to lose a bit more around the waist, but hey, all in good time! I better hit that treadmill.

Life can suck.

I'm with you guys. I think it's because we are probably more sensitive than most people (an appreciation of LiT is proof of that), and we can take things to heart very quickly. I know there's something missing in my life. I've been at the same job now for over 13 years. It's a desk job, very boring,...

Charlotte connects first.

It's interesting to see that Charlotte was the one to consciously connect to Bob. He didn't initiate the connection, it was her. She saw something in Bob that she related to, and wanted to find out what it was.

Alarm

Again, another first for observations....when Charlotte calls her sister, Lauren, about how she is feeling, there is the background of Tokyo, and there's an alarm in the background. I have never observed this, and thought it was really interesting....a coincidence, or actually very well planned that...

Girl in elevator

I just noticed for the first time...in the elevator when Charlotte looks at Bob for the first time (but doesn't remember it), there is a little Japanese girl on the elevator with her mom who looks like she is going to pee her pants...it's so funny!!!

Can anybody tell me what song Sausolito is singing at the very beginning..
"I'm in your arms, and you are kissing me. But there's seems to be something missing..."

Anybody know this song? And who originally recorded it?

Congrous, I totally understand. But, if they released an extended version, that doesn't have to take away from the original. Besides, you don't have to watch it!
