Can you see Sofia in a darkened room bemoaning how none of them sees her genius?! They just cant appreciate art and innovation when they see it?! Ive heard most movie critics are just completely jaded and cynical and hate everything they see. I would hate to be a movie critic! But then again, everyo...

Maybe this is one of those initiation paying dues things. You know cause Scarlett is so young and all and the others are more experienced. So its like yea they respect and admire her but wont show it outwardly because they want her to continue to prove herself, build a body of work. You know?! On th...

Having an LIT moment

I think I used to have these moments but can now call them LIT moments. And they often last for more than a moment. Basically an urge to run out late at night and go to a bar, get wrapped around a cold frosty, and find a kindred spirit of the opposite sex to talk about life, the universe, everything...

My latest guess is: "Dont freak out but Phish are breaking up at the end of the summer in '04!"

Sofia's film influences

I was reading and have heard that Sofia was influenced by
Wong Kar Wai and his films like Chung King Express (which has similarities to LIT) among others. I'll have to rent them and see.

I certainly don't have time these days with work and all to watch too many movies. I/we focus on seeing the movies we want that come out in the theature. ...

I don't have the DVD (shocking I know!!!) but I do recall discussion elsewhere about how the film was badly framed in many theatures leaving boom mikes showing everywhere etc. In my area that was not the case, I never saw any boom mikes. So what they were saying is that theatures get a cut that is m...
