two years, four months later....

.....and I'm finally set to go back to Tokyo tomorrow, albeit for two days and a half. I'm also going for a week at the end of april. I'm setting off in about seven hours or so for the airport. I'm staying up as long as I can so I can sleep on the plane and cut jetlag. Not much else to do except iro...

i'm finishing reading a book entitled Misima's Sword- Travels In Search of a Samurai Legend. The author attempts to find the sword Mishima used in his seppaku, whilst uncovering the motives which caused Mishima to take the action he did. I think the title refers more to Mishima's search inside himse...

if you look at the expanded picture of Heian Jingu, the path you would follow takes a clockwise direction, with the entry to the garden being at the top left hand corner of the open courtyard. The pov of the camera as charlotte walks across the courtyard is from this corner, looking towards the exit...

just read one of the posts on the locations sticky- lost in boston remarked that the new york bar is getting renovated from july through september. i can't really see the need apart from the fact that being in an L shape some of the tables were a little isolated from the main dinig area. You'd think...

i´ve never really listened in to what was actually said during the whisper itself, usually i don´t even watch one particular scene- if i watch the film, i usually watch it in its entirety. Usually i watch the film about every couple of months or so but over the weekend i watched it twice, once on ea...

I suppose I´m writing this mainly because the last post was made on Wednesday by myself, and as things are so quiet I thought i´d try and kickstart things a little. An extended version of LIT. I have been a member of this forum for a while now, and mostly the topics relating to the film itself have ...

from what i remember of it, theres a sort of foyer area on the ground floor, (where bob gets in and out of the car at the start and end) which leads to the lift. The lift takes you to the lobby area which is on the 40ish floor (where you see the anna faris singing). the new york bar is on the top fl...

To be honest, I wouldn´t read too much into it. I believe its a case of them having gone to probably a lot of trouble getting a billboard of that size into one of the busiest places in Tokyo and figuring they might as well use the shot somewhere. To put it all into perspective (I think I mentioned t...
