Re: Cheating On Charlotte. Prison Break.

:) Hey what's up, dudes? Alright. i have two questions for all of you. Everybody is welcome to write their opinions. 1. Why did Bob sleep with the Soulsolito woman? Was it because he wanted to do you know what and could not do it with Charlotte? so he chose this lady? Or is there something else to ...

At this point I can't imagine any other movie ever taking over the number 1 spot as my all around favourite movie. I know most LiT fans would disagree because it would taint the first movie, but I wish there was a second film as good as the first. Perhaps the sequel wouldn't be necesarrily a continu...

Ghost World is phenomenal, my second favourite film ever (after LiT). Hey, me too! LiT took over from Ghost World as my favourite. I bought the graphic novel after seeing the movie. I also got the screenplay. Interesting that the Seymour character was a cross between Terry Zwigoff (the director) an...

Watched it again Sunday night after returning from BC. This was my 8th viewing. The 2nd and 3rd time I watched this movie had the most emotional impact. But, I have yet to get tired of it. I still look forward to watching it on the weekend late at night. It's an Event for me. I still think the first...

If your thinking about picking up a girl at the train station, don't watch this movie first... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0398017/ LOL Picknick...let us know what happens. On my way back from British Columbia (Canada) I had a stop over in Edmonton. I was walking around the terminal and noticed a v...

Tokyo and Kyoto would be glorious. I am definitely going to save up for that one. It would be nice to travel with someone though. What about you, would you go alone?

Well, here's my first post. I haven't had a fleeting connection like they had in LiT, but I am very accustomed to leaving the one I love behind. I'm in a long distance relationship and I know all too well how jet lag, driving through fairly unfamiliar environs at night and difficult goodbyes feel. ...

That's a long flight. Are you going to LA on vacation?

Dreams are fascinating. Although I have not had an LiT dream as of yet, I would gladly welcome one. Perhaps I could germinate one by asking my subconscious before I go to bed to have such an experience. I'd like to relive the Karaoke night with Bob and Charlotte.

It's interesting to see how the movie and soundtrack effects different people. I don't think any of us would consider it depressing. It's sad and lonely in parts, but overall, it's very uplifting.

I think the best one word description I've heard so far is: sublime.

I loved the use of My Bloody Valentine in the soundtrack.......thats a mystical sequence That ride home in the taxi cab was magical. The lights of Tokyo, the new soulful connection made at Karaoke, the whole ambience was just so moving. The haunting echo of that song as Bob carries Charlotte to her...

Ahh, yes, the Kyoto chapter is awesome. It's like a music video in itself. I can just play that scene over and over. I am currently in British Columbia on vacation and brought my iPod along. I think I've played the soundtrack 3 times since I've been here. Well, this past Friday, my sister was workin...

I have never heard anything else by Squarepusher. Am I the only one who assumed that almost every track from the soundtrack (upon viewing the film) was done by the same group or person? I was quite shocked to find that there were a great many different groups and persons who made different songs on...

Yes, very true. I would like it if more of these experiences happened. It gives life such sparkle. I believe in the soul and spirit and deeper connections. Seems all this physical stuff often gets in the way.

mothling, great experience. It does certainly compare. Thanks for sharing. I understand the relevance and similarity to Bob and Charlotte regarding the connecting in a real and meaningful way. Finding these kind of connections is not so easy. It looks like you really did get a lot out of that discus...

Why is Charlott's face blurry?

Ok, riddle me this Batman...

The last night in the bar and Bob says he doesn't want to leave. Then the camera is on Charlotte as she says "Then don't. Stay here with me..." and the focus is blurry.

Why is the focus blurry? What cinematic, or dramatic or symbolic device is Sofia using here?

The Karaoke is a good idea! Sounds like a plan. We can stew the idea until we have enough people to make it worth it....and possibly by that time the minors won't be minor anymore! :-)

Suntory Whisky here we come!

I remember once on the subway, years ago, I was on my way to see a movie. Across from me was a very beautiful young lady who was looking back at me favourably. We kept looking at each other and looking away and smiling. This went on for several stops. Then when my stop came, she got off too. We ende...

That would be pretty cool. It would have to be planned pretty far in advance to give people a chance to get the invites and make arrangements. But, I would definitely be into that if we could swing it just once in our lifetime. We have all seen the movie enough times alone, now to share it with kind...
