Thats nice. So I guess Sofia captured the feeling very well in the movie. Were you staying at Park Hyatt or just wandering about? I heard the prices are insane but I guess you can go to the bar even if you do not sleep there. I am going to Europe this summer so I might fly for a week to Tokyo while t...

Scarlett in 'The Island'

So, Scarlett will feature in this new Sci-Fi flick along with Ewan McGregor. Ewan was in such films as Trainspotting(one of my favorite) and Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones. I saw the trailer for the film and looks OK. The film has an impressive cast and even though I'am not a big fan o...

I was going to ask the very same thing :!: Someone I used to work with had that ringer on her phone, but I forgot to ask her where she got it. lol... I'll try to get it. I didn't know it was Chopin's or even a classical piece. Someone had it in a supermarket the other day and I instantly thought of...

Thanks samwright8380!
You seem to have done your research, know a lot about the place and I presume you have been in Tokyo. If so, have you visited some places featured in the movie? Now come on tell us about them. I am dying to go there one day and I will even if its the last thing I do!! :D

I have another dumb question and its so dumb I dont want to start a new thread about it... Does anyone know the song that plays on Bob's cell phone when someone calls him? It would be so cool to have it on my cell phone so I would think of LiT every time someone called me :D I heard it before somewh...

Tokyo is very unique. You can go from the most revolutionized buildings and machines, the ones no one else in the world has yet developed to temples and buildings older than the United States itself. I promised myself I am going to go there this summer but we'll see. :D

I love that sequence but has anyone noticed that a one point when you see the distant shot of Charlotte and temple in the background the ground is really really white? is that snow or its just the way the ground looks?

It's kind of sad that she gave into that kind of sexually suggestive photography crap... Then again, people will do anything if you hand them enough money. I must remind myself as well as everyone else that Scarlett isnt Charlotte. But I sure wish she was.. "I don't have half the fetishes I'...

The movie IS better watched alone, late at night, with nothing disturbing you. Simul-view is just a discussion about certain parts of the movie as they appear.I didn't see the movie for over two months, just didn't have time but I am kinda afraid of this punched in the gut feeling. Like someone earl...

For me the songs that are not on the soundtrack but remind me of the film are R.E.M-Nightswimming and Sunday Morning by The Velvet Underground and Friendly Advice by not really a popular band called Luna. Please don't ask my why, they just do. The lyrics don't really have much to do with the movie b...

not everything has to have a straight line answer. Those are, as said above, irrelevant things that just are added into the plot.I understand most of the movie and don't pay attention to those things. But yeah, some people watch the movie so many times that those things just come out naturally cause...

Everything in the picture is artificial, but obviously this is not a place for anyone to be natural. It's the dream factory, it sucks people in and they are never themselves thereafter. Yeah. She looks a bit plastic. What was wrong with the LiT look?? Why can't naturally beautiful stars like Scarle...

From the previews, I think its one of those movies that will just pass by without any special effect on anyone nor will have especially bad reviews. It will be forgot about in few months but you can't be in all Blockbuster/Artistic films that will forever change people's lives.Goot luck to Scarlett ...

From the previews, the movie looked very average.I also can't look at thet guy in the leading role without thinking of "Thats 70s show" which is very distracting.

I didn't feel anything while watching the movie on simul-view, The movie has much more impact on you if you watch it by yourself in a dark room at 11pm.Although its a nice way to connect with other fans, its just not the sa...
