Opening registration again might help.

I know spam registrations are a problem, but as long as they can't post they aren't really affecting the forum as a whole. I rarely look at the memberlist anyway.

Then you can just delete the obvious spammers as you have time.

We have our own chat room. You can find it at the bottom of the forum index.

There's a link for [Click to join chat].

It's not the best, but it's there.

That said, I'm all for finding a better solution. Will make our simul-view chats less...tenuous.

I haven't heard anything, but his website has changed to just a link to his MySpace page which says "new album to be released SOON". Don't see any other information on there though.

Great news if it's true. I'll keep an eye out for it.

LIT on Hulu.

Just saw that Lost in Translation is available for viewing on hulu.com. It does have commercials in it, but if you're stuck somewhere without a copy of LIT and need your fix or know someone who wants to watch the movie without buying or renting it... http://www.hulu.com/watch/22996/lost-in-translati...

Bah, I forgot to post a time. Last year we did it at 12 noon pacific, which worked out to 3pm eastern and 9pm GMT I think. Anyone that happened to be in asia or australia would be the morning of the 22nd but I'm not sure if we have anyone from there? Anyway that time seemed to work well last year so...

Five year Anniv Simul-view! - Sept. 21 - see post for times

Hard to believe but it's coming up on 5 years since the release date. I know it's a little early to start talking about it, but things have been quiet around here so hopefully this will give enough time to generate some interest. It's been a while since even I've watched this movie, so let's all get...

Finally watched this movie. I would say that Bill Murray's skit with GZA and RZA is the one I liked the least, but some of the others are good. Particularly the Tom Waits/Iggy Pop and the Alfred Molina/Steve Coogan conversations.

Worth a watch, but I wouldn't expect anything fantastic out of it.

City of Ember

Bill Murray is starring in this upcoming movie based on a fantasy/sci-fi novel.

Looks interesting.
