I'll always love hearing a girl laugh at a joke I tell. It relieves stress like nothing else can. I even have to admit that I get uncomfortable when guys around me are making the girls laugh so much--I basically sit there and get very quiet. I don't know. I'm selfish, and just not good in big crowd...
4. Steven Prince/Ken Webster - Ken making the qoute: "A well armed populus is the best defense against tyranny"..then they both prove that concept to be inaccurate to say the least. 5. Richard Linklater - Discussing Phillip K. Dick's theory that time is an illusion. I love it when he says "You shou...
Unfortunately, events conspired against me and kept me from attending the simul-view (a friend's Ford Festiva decided to die, so I had to pick him up from work an hour away), however I am glad to know it was enjoyed by all (almost).
Well my question to you is which philosophies/abstract ideals hit you the hardest? My favorite scenes would have to be Eamonn Healey, who is the older man philosophizing about neo-humanism and neurobiology (one of the first), David Sosa (the quantum mechanics guy who is quoted in my signature) and t...
Another one to add to my list, which includes Magnolia and Dogville as well. I'm having a hard time finding Magnolia, although I've been trying to get my hands on it for months. I haven't heard of Dogville but I'll add that one to my list as well. In fact I think I'll look it up on IMDB right now. ...

Only in a moment as priceless as this could a comic strip designed for the purpose of intelligent, witty irony lead to a conversation about the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.
Alas it has finally happened.. I didn't think any film could ever come close to pushing LiT out of my #1 spot, however this flick has come dangerously close. I saw this movie by random chance after hearing about it from a friend. After assuming that no one else would have ever heard of this film (it...
Exactly. Theres no reason to set it in Japan. A good movie would have a good reason for setting it there. A good movie would also have characters that are worth caring about. I think you guys are all wasting your time arguing over something with someone who has no arguments to make himself. Would y...

Don't leave me now is the most dramatic song on The Wall, there to represent Pink calling his wife and having another guy answer the phone (his wife is cheating on him).
Great song by a great band.

My daughter's boygfriend is a big fan - he even has a DVD of "Dark Side of Oz" - the movie Wizard of Oz with Dark Side of the Moon synced up as the sound track. Interesting!
I don't think you should take any posts down. You're one of the best writers I've ever seen, and some of your situations stir up some pretty complicated and happy memories in all of us. (I would have had a heart attack as well).
Good luck with this relatoinship and thanks for sharing
Ok, I figured after ruining everyone's mushy feelings I might as well come back and post my own favourite love song. The one I would have to say hit me the hardest is called A Plain Morning by Dashboard Confessional (sorry 52FM  ). If there are any other fans of DC here I'm happy to report that...
