I agree, the Park Hyatt in Tokyo would obviously be the ultimate choice and experience. Now, how plausible would that be though. I wonder what the cost would be (excluding air fare which would be different for everyone). Someone could plan this for a couple of years down the road, get a list of plac...

Hmmm, still doesn't make sense to me. A lobby is always near the entrance of a building. Also, in the movie, they refer to goin "down" to the bar for drinks. I think John says this to Charlotte in the hotel room. So, why is the location of the Bar down? Also, when Bob and Charlotte come back from th...

I don't understand why the Hyatt would have the lobby on the top floor! That means when people check in they have to take the elevator to the top floor to do that? Does that make sense?

Regarding what Bob said to Charlotte at the end of the film, setting aside any supposed determination based on what was actually said physically through filters and the like, but based purely on plot and character development, I don't think the relationship would have ended there. Here is my reasoni...

The New York Bar location.

OK, this really bugs me. Why did Sophia persist to state that the New York Bar is located in the lobby in the film? We all know that it's on the top floor of the Hyatt. And, even if it was meant to be fictional and not specifically relate to the Hyatt in the movie, it's obvious to anyone not knowing...

I think you're really determined to burst my bubble! :? But I'm viewing the movie through MY own eyes and ears...and as I identify with Bob Harris, I am totally convinced he told her to conact him when she gets back to the States because that's what I would have done. No way I would let a gem like C...

What is this music?

Can anyone tell me what music is playing as the scene changes from Bob and Charlotte heading out of the hotel on their first night together in Tokyo to the club. I don't recognize it.

Really? Why does it bother you? Bob feeds off their laughter as he speaks with the older man. He is tickled by their laughing. It's one of the most natural and funny scenes in the movie.

That scene of him walking back to his hotel room after dropping Charlotte off from their night out in Tokyo is so precious. He is a man full of deep thought, charm, wit, and decency. His expressions are priceless. Especially the scene in the lobby after Charlotte gives him his jacket. He looks so pa...

Well Ben-B, I'll have to run that whisper through Sound Forge and see what I come up with just out of curiousity. I'm not convinced of what you say. But, regardless of that, I don't think it's really that important what Bill Murray physically said to Scarlett because there were many shots taken and ...

Re: Bob's wisper: "If I was able.......

Interesting. The last words relating to the lounge singer has already been put forward by myself on the previous page, so this is not new. And I agree with you that when Charlotte found out about it she was jealous and hurt. So, I always thought Bob had to broach the subject in the end. At lunch tha...

Ben-B... Yeah, i heard some guy put the scene through audio filters and enhancers to bring up the voice..and what the result was. But, what he actually said and what Bill's character would have said relating to the experience with Charlotte in Tokyo are completely different. I don't think what Bill ...

Yah those two women in the background laughing always bothers me. . One of them is the man's daughter. That was such a funny scene and natural. You can tell it was mostly ad lib. I like the way Bill Murray was looking back at those two women to notice their reaction and reacted to that in his antic...

Thanks for getting it back up Bob San!
