I'll have to watch it again, has whoever mixed the soundtrack literally looped the same call twice?

I believe they're rooks (I tend to mix them up with ravens), their call is very common around Kyoto and Tokyo.

I've always watched this film alone. I used to watch it late at night whilst drinking bourbon (this is nearly ten years ago or so). I suppose it would add to the jetlagged feeling. Nowadays I prefer to play it before the sun has fully risen. Usually by the time it finishes the skies are clear but th...

Bill Murray on Reddit

Reviving an old thread, but was looking through an old hard drive recently and I found that I have a load of photos that I never touched at the time as I was into HDR type stuff. Anyway when I get the chance I'll put a few up on here.

P.S - 2008 me sounds a bit pretentious!

I don't really keep track of movie releases anymore so i had no idea that this was coming out. It isn't really my sort of thing - more likely to appeal to teens/Emma Watson fans. Incidentally I do vaguely remember reading about these robberies a few years back - not enough to make a movie about IMO.

It has been a long time since I've last watched the film, perhaps nearly a year. When I first saw the movie back in '04 I used to put it on late at night and open up a bottle of johnnie walker green label... now when I do play it I like to watch it very early in the morning, as if the tiredness recr...

I think seeing the film for the first time led me to consider the direction I was going in at that point in time. I'm not sure that the film was pivotal in itself, but it certainly provided a catalyst for a change within myself. I think it was seeing these two characters so far removed from their no...

I'm always up for another simulview . Not sure if there's a need to stream though, I think everyone here must have the film in some format by now, either dvd, hd dvd or bluray. :)

I can't remember specifics, but I do remember a chirashi being discussed on here a few years back on here that was produced for early screenings in Japan.

That's great!! I'll be sure to look through your blog once you're there! On my last trip to Tokyo in '08 I carried a tripod and extra lenses and took a lot of shots of landmarks etc, I kind of regret I didn't go light and get pictures of little overlooked details and the like. The weather is great i...
