dbm, good lord its been 5 years since you last dreamt? Poor thing. I love having dreams. they often prove, to me at least, very influential when it comes to producing some artwork.

The soundtrack to me feels very dreamlike. It almosts reminds me of childlike sometimes, as though to show the characters childlike innocence to the whole Tokyo lifestyle. It really feels this way at the very beginning when Bob is looking out the car window at the neon signs. It really gives off thi...

I agree with the others. Try not to let your resentment towards her cloud all the good things you experienced during your time with her.

LiT Dreams??

I think I must be reaching an insanity point with liking this film as last night I actually dreamed that I visited the Park Hyatt. Sadly though, it was a little different. It mostly took place in corridors and hallways and they were all just random looking, but I did go up onto the roof of the hotel...

heee.

Just a bit of randomness here, but I was shocked and appalled one night the other week when I was playing the LiT soundtrack whilst I had some friends over and one of them called it "depressing" !

mothling, great experience. It does certainly compare. Thanks for sharing. I understand the relevance and similarity to Bob and Charlotte regarding the connecting in a real and meaningful way. Finding these kind of connections is not so easy. It looks like you really did get a lot out of that discu...

I don't know if this really counts but, I once kind of had a LiT moment with one of my uncles. He was kind of the Bob character, and I the Charlotte, even though I am male. Though at the time, I was at a very open-ended period of my life, and he was roughly Bobs age in the movie. I was at a big fami...

I am really sad to hear that. I was so hoping to visit the New York Bar and Grill as it appeared in the movie. I know this us purely spectulation but what do you guys think the remodeling will turn out like? Do you think it will be only a bit different or totally different and not resemble the NY Ba...

...the New York Bar at the Hyatt (which will be completely remodeled this summer). Noooooooooooo :( I am hoping to travel to Tokyo with a group of friends in 2 or maybe 3 years time, and I was doing some pricing up on the internet at the Park Hyatt website and on a seperate airline website, and alt...

Oh that would be awesome, thank you so much!
I am hoping to achieve a look much like this one; http://www.phpbb.com/styles/forum/index.php?style=127 , with the Bob banner going directly across the top of the page. Though as I said before, the colouring would be much different to that one.

Pitman; you just reminded me of my plans to bring LiT with me on my flight to LA from England next month. It would be the perfect film for me to just chill out with during the flight.

Thanks :)

I hope for the template to be quite dark. Matching the tone set in the banner, dark blues, etc. With a light gray font. Hopefully me and Bob can work out how to do it.

I have never heard anything else by Squarepusher. Am I the only one who assumed that almost every track from the soundtrack (upon viewing the film) was done by the same group or person? I was quite shocked to find that there were a great many different groups and persons who made different songs on ...

Oh, of course I'm not denying that all relationships are indeed different, and there of course as ood a possibility that Bob and Charlotte could be exactly the same in their relationship right up until death do they part, all I simply meant was that, no matter what the outcome of years together, the...
