as you might be able to tell, im a huge fan of that song too and i have actually spend some similar time deliberating about it. i basically figured out the same thing as you, that charlotte is the girl who "takes on half the world" all while being pleasant and happy most of the time (up and so alive...

bill, scarlett, and sofia all seem like such nice people that it would be almost bothersome to find out about some kind of quarrel between them... even before i heard the rumor, i was instantly surprised that scarlett really didnt give any commentary at all in the bonus features part of the dvd. i w...

Just another one of those things that a part of me wants to be explained in more detail in a sequel or prequel.. too bad we all know that would ruin it.. I think we all feel that way in a sense though, I can't help but feel a disturbing sense of emptiness every time the movie ends, like there should...

Another thing that I don't remember anyone mentioning is the whole thing about Charlie Brown.. It is never explained how Charlotte and John know him or how they knew Charlotte and John were in town, but it really doesn't matter that much. I've actually often thought about it.. because Charlie seems ...

One weird theory that I have is that the beginning of the movie, when Bob arrives and Girls is playing in the background, he is simply returning a second time, for some unknown reason, and the Suntory ad he sees on the billboard is actually one of the photos taken during the second half of the movie...

I've experienced the same thing, because i watch the movie so much. I fall asleep to it almost every night, and there are no surprises anymore. Although that takes away some of the drama and oompf of the film, I feel all the more at home with Bob and Charlotte, and chilling with them for a few hours...
