Avatar and Iron Man 2

Saw Avatar and surprise surprise Giovanni Ribisi plays the evil corporate puppet. Wow what a difference from LIT but he pulls it off!! Scarlett Johanssen plays an action hero in the new Iron Man 2. I saw the trailer and at first I was sceptical but after I saw it I was like WOW she can pull this off...

David Lynch is great but I think that Mullholland is the film that really pulls it all together and it is one of his best! I love it!

Cryogenic you pretty much say it all, I am not sure what else there is to say therefore! The shot is multi-layered with image, text, and sound and all of that comes together to capture a defining moment and mood. I definitely identify the FF logo with LIT. Whenver I see it now I think of LIT. Very i...

Scarlett is ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!

I am SO jealous!!! Scarlett Johansson, 23, and Ryan Reynolds, 31, who have been dating since spring 2007, are engaged. Congratulations to the happy couple! Yes, Reynolds was previously engaged to singer Alanis Morissette, 33. And yes, the couple split up in February 2007 after four years together. F...

That IS great! I was looking at the related MBV videos and became entranced with this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASF30_WXL9E I remember in 1990 hearing this song play on college radio in Boston (WMBR) for the first time and was like WOW! I called the station and spoke to the DJ about it as ...

The Annual Office Chris...er um I mean Holiday/Winter Party

I had to go to my company's holiday party this weekend. Ok I didn't have to but if I didn't at least show my face for a short while it might not be good politically. You know?! I somehow escaped going the last couple years. Almost did this year too but ran out of excuses. I figured though I would ju...

I just saw it last night in a theater with THX/Dolby sound and large digital screen which is what you need to see this type of movie on. It was brilliant! A spectacularly done action film from the action movie genius Michael Bay! Sure it has its stupid moments but beyond that the action and editing ...

Japanese Culture on youtube

I've been spending some time on youtube and have found a lot of videos made by non-japanese people (aka japanophiles?!). They are either lipsycing to popular Japanese music tunes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOxfkZbCDTs (she's really good at it too!) or speaking japanese to who I don't know, etc. ...
