For me, it's Winter. Winter's great because I can get nice-n-cozy by my fireplace and just relax with a book, turn on some music, and have a warm drink(Suntory anyone? ). It does snow here in Dallas, but nothing major. Usually it snows around February. Winter's the wind down to the year..a re...

Please don't hate me for saying this  .... I loved Lord of the Rings..I found the acting, directing, adaptation, and of course special effects to be amazing! I cannot compare L.O.T.R. to L.I.T. at all. They are two VERY different types of films. I wish the Academy would just divide the catagor...

Just Like Honey...wrote: I can't help but admit that Joel is a character with no substance (Jim Carrey gives him a personality, but beyond that Joel is just tofu). The character of Joel is an introvert. He seems to be the kind of guy that no one knew in high school. The kind of guy who had a hard ti...

But what if the billboard ad was photographed while he was there the "first" time and when he sees the ad in the beginning of the film he is "remembering" the "first" time he saw that billboard with Charlotte. Possilble? I don't believe in the flashback theory either..but it would be nice,IMO. :) [/...

Flashback or Not?
Hello everyone, I have a question for you all.... As previously posted, there have been discussions on whether the intro sequence to Bob's arrival in Tokyo is happening in real time and that when he arrives at the Park Hyatt we are watching a flashback. The romantic in me wants to say we are watchin...

After seeing this movie for like the third time in a month, I'd like to see if I could get this topic started up again..... I loved this movie. True these characters were not as likeable as our L.I.T. characters. Bob and Charlotte make us feel what they are feeling by watching them. We can somehow r...

Same with me. This movie is very special to me, but everyone I recommend it to finds it pointless. I heard all the hype about this movie while it was in the theaters but from the previews it didn't seem like something I'd be interested in. So I decided to rent it one day THIS year and with no memory...

I am a Christian who was brought up Catholic. As a child I didn't understand the Catholic Religion. To me it just seemed like a bunch of rules, lighting candles, worshipping statues, praying to saints, etc. Because of that, as a teen, I chose to believe in nothing and became an atheist. After years o...

Hi there....I posted this on another post but this seems to fit THIS post perfectly. Here we go... What makes this movie great is the realism involved. My story is not EXACTLY like LIT but the feelings are similar. My story--- I was 29 and married for 7 years when life kind of went strange. My wife a...
