an interesting note about the speech (although if you are a bill murray fan you might know already...) Bill jokes that he fired his agents and his physical trainer killed himself....except that Bill really did fire his agent and his physical trainer really did kill himself...thats kinda mean tho isn...

Re: hypnosis
Used to post to RU awake ..then drifted away from it and LIT...as I found the " hypnosis " that the film evoked was wearing off. I couldnt feel what I felt when I first saw the movie and drifted into the strange and unexplained mood ..leaving me to wonder many things...Something Im obviously not al...

I first saw this question a couple of days ago, and have given it a bit of thought since then. I don't think LiT promotes infidelity, at least not outright. What it does is acknowledge that sometimes there are elements missing from our primary relationships and our lives, and our partners are not a...

yeah, there are a few scene which didn't make the final cut, some of which you can see if you have the DVD...a few others she didn't even film (or at least weren't on the deleted scenes portion of the DVD), according to her original screenplay...hehe i think i have a little too much free time....oh ...

Have to agree with both of your posts relating to the idea that LiT made you really want to get more out of life. Individually I just felt that some of the thoughts and emotions that Charlotte spoke about in the film, the whole, "I dont know what I want to be thing" kind of coincided with my life, ...

yeah that nighttime tokyo photo site really is amazing...thanks for that link. i have a mac, and on it you can make the screen saver into a very nice slide show - it changes pics, zooms in and out of slides, has a nice flowing feeling to it. I downloaded about 45 of those great nighttime photos. i c...

just saw Girl with a pearl earring on DVD...i thought it was a great movie (but not as good as LiT of course)...scarlett was amazing in it - she did so little talking (must had like 20 lines!) but still did a great job of acting through her facial expressions/demeanor...i read somewhere that this wa...

a LITTLE on japanese pop culture...
Having never been to Japan, i don't know very much about the place, but i do know some things from what I've heard (my bro stayed there for 6 months...) Just some RANDOM stuff: they do love karaoke!!...they have HUGE things of beers....they love their video games too: they have all kinds of everyday...

yeah IMDB is almost too big. It's come to the point where some of the previous topics are repeated. I mean there must be at least 5 or 6 posts about the last whisper in the movie. Theres tons of soudntrack questions and anti-LiT posts as well. It's boring. FAN sites are so much better...people can s...

i think what's sadder is how few and far between great movies, truly great movies, like LiT come out, and when they do, people still don't even appreciate them. Makes me appreciate the movie more and more every time i read a post by those morons in IMDB (there not all morons tho...) Also, i don't th...
