Yeah, long time. Keep up the good work. Don't lose yourself to the dark side Luke. One thing you have to keep in mind is that getting wasted doesn't in anyway remove responsibility for your actions. So, whatever happens as a result you will have to pay for it one way or another. It's better to have ...

I liked it. Yes, similar theme. The opening scene really sums it up. This man, Johnny Marco, approaching his mid years is very successful (like Bob was) in Hollywood and he's driving a nice Ferrari on a short round track going around and around and around. The scene is prolonged and you get the sens...

I think in my case since I'm upgrading not only the movie to Blu-ray, but the TV as well, I should see a marked improvement! Can't wait!!

What if Bill and Scarlett were not available for that role?

Hey all...I was just wondering and would like to hear some of your ideas about the following: What if Sophia could not get Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson to play the lead roles? Who can you imagine stepping into these roles? I'll go first. Kevin Spacey & Thora Birch. They were in American Beauty...

I bought the Blu-ray last week and have yet to watch the movie for the 50th time. I'm thinking I should upgrade my TV before the next viewing.

Can anybody else confirm that the quality is no better than the regular DVD?

The timing is perfect. I have been at 49 views for a couple of months. My 50th view, a special one will be on Blu-Ray! I can't wait to get it!! Looking forward to this viewing more than ever now!! I have never watched a movie 50 times. Wow. And I'm going strong too. I think in 10 years, it will be 1...

I really enjoy reading your Chapter by Chapter analysis. I hope you continue on. You know, you could even turn this into a book and have it published. Your writing is so good. I particularly liked how you synopsized the chapter.

Please do another chapter! :)

The thing I found funny about the elevator scene was the little girl looking like she has to go pee so badly. Also, when Charlotte exits the elevator, you can still see the back of her purse and she never quite leaves the scene.

Seems unlikely he would do a photo shoot in the US for Suntory. And even if so, why would he then have to fly to Japan to do yet another photo shoot? I don't believe there are any Suntory offices in the states. It's doubtful they would send over a whole camera crew from Suntory to the US just to tak...

Billboard

I love reading this Chapter by Chapter. As you can see, I'm behind in my reading here. I want to comment on this part in the film: In this passage, an odd moment occurs when Bob sees a billboard of himself, even though he hasn't been photographed yet. Immediately after, the reaction shot is of Bob r...

Ambient Music

Hi fellow LiTers. I heard this music playing on a station a while ago and thought it had a really cool vibe kind of similar to the LiT feeling.

Check it out, and let me know if you like it.

TokyoGirl, I'm with you. I have been back into watching it on a regular basis and I can't wait for the weekend to see it again. I highly doubt any other film will ever take over top spot as my favourite of all time. I watch it about twice a month now. I will be on my 47th viewing.

This is really bugging me. As a teen I think I did see this bottle in some party situation and that's why it's really on my mind. I went to the LCBO (Ontario's "prison" for spirits-meaning wine, beer and alcohol) and searched all the shelves for that drink. I think I'll have to print out a pic and t...

I have been waiting a long time for Blu-Ray. Will get it for sure. But I don't expect much improvement if any since the film was shot on 35mm. Nevertheless, it will be the best quality available both visually and sonically.

That's pretty cool. I did see LiT in the theatre, but honestly, I didn't really get it. It was only when I saw it the second time on DVD that it really hit me.
