Re: Continuity

During the fire alarm, Bob is wearing a kimono and not carrying anything, but in the bar and in the elevator later he's wearing a coat. Maybe he got back to his room and got something more appropriate for a night in the bar than a kimono. Anyways, why not leave it alone, the message is there for so...

i like your paris suggestion...i think that anna could be replaced, maybe by cameron diaz? :D btw merry xmas all, happy new years! Well, that could have worked out, I heard that Anna's character was making fun of Cameron Diaz but on some talk show she said that it was some other actress that she ma...

That web site is truly sad. There are so many other movies loaded with racial stereotypes and LiT is not one of them. I laughed at Bill's not understanding of the culture and the constant confusion, not at the Japaneese people. And even Coppola or Bill said along with people involved that the people...

Re: Some DVD notes
There is a smiling japanese woman who waves goodbye.
I watched the movie a few times on Starz and its also at the end of the credits, so its not just on the Dvd, by the way I heard Scarlett didn't contribute much comments on the film, thats strange. And is there "City Girl" video by ...

as for Chatlotte role Natalie Portman and Katie Holmes are the only ones I even begin to see as a possibilty for the part. As for Bob , The Robin Williams idea is a really good one.Now that I watched the movie about 6-8 times (know almost every word) its very hard to imagine someone else in those ro...

"Riding in cars with boys"- great movie. It had a similar effect on me as LiT only in much smaller doses, but it was a bit too sappy.

There seems to be a lot of David Bowie songs which is great(Rebel Rebel is also Bowie song if I'am not mistaking). The movie is already out , has anyone seen it? I want to go next week.

oh well , she still looks really good but had "it" in LiT with her red straight hair that seem to get lost now. She is after all of Danish/Polish decent so maybe thats where her distinct look comes from (at least in LiT).

I loved Too Young but I didn't really like the rest of their songs so much. I guess with some songs you have to listen a few times to them to like them.I'll try that. After LiT I really got into My Bloody Valentine music though.

Yeah, I noticed that too. No one who I met who watched it said it was "ok" They said "what a bore" (majority) and a few said "amazing" "changed my life"(minority) .I guess its because if you really get the point of the movie and go deeper under the surface and can relate in some way you loved it. Al...

Do You all think that it was Coppola's goal to make some of us feel that way or she just wanted to present Tokyo and that solitude, lost feeling in her movie?

Do you think that Bill singed a contract that would keep him from reviling the whisper or he just doesn't want to mess up the whole plot of the movie?

I think Scarlett was soo much more beautyful in LiT than now with those Kalvin commercialls. Now she just looks very avarage instead of very original like in LiT

Well, as much as I would like to visit Tokyo and Japan overall, I wouldn't want to move there. You would have to go to work, have worries etc. which would over time destroy the magical experience.
