Just curious if you also noticed the expression on Bob's face as the waiter walks off to get Charlotte's drink.. its kinda like a "I can't believe we recited the commercial to her" look...

My favorite subtlety is the scene where Charlotte gives Bob his jacket back as he is leaving. The silent looks between them are priceless. Bob wants to tell her so much and it looks like she wanted tell him just as much back. The pained expression that Bob had while taking pictures with the Japanese...

- Movies that mirror your life can make you relate very deeply to it.
- Scarlett Johansson's subtle beauty is more powerful than looking at a super model.
- Maybe there is someone out there that can connect with you on a deep level.
- I need to see Tokyo before I die.
- I should try Karaoke.

Glad you're doing ok now. Good thing you got out of the obviously unfulfilling relationship. On the subject of pick up lines, don't ever, ever, ever use these: (Unless you're in a situation where you can make them sound funny - joking around is probably one of my favourite ways to get to know someo...

Traveling with people is cool.. but I also like to travel alone. Im kind of spontaneous and would like to explore the place so if I was alone, I wouldn't have to follow an itinerary or schedule. I mean it'd be nice to be able to walk around in Shinjuku and Shibuya at night and just revel in the nigh...

Well, here's my first post. I haven't had a fleeting connection like they had in LiT, but I am very accustomed to leaving the one I love behind. I'm in a long distance relationship and I know all too well how jet lag, driving through fairly unfamiliar environs at night and difficult goodbyes feel. ...

Dreams are fascinating. Although I have not had an LiT dream as of yet, I would gladly welcome one. Perhaps I could germinate one by asking my subconscious before I go to bed to have such an experience. I'd like to relive the Karaoke night with Bob and Charlotte. Interesting.. I'll ask my subconcsi...

Ithildriel couldn't have summed it up any better. I know its easy for me to say this since I'm an outsider to your heartache but trust me when I say the majority of us.. of people in general... have gone through what you're going through now. I know it doesn't make it hurt any less..Yes, it hurts......

Thanks for the info. $200 / night still a bit steep but it may be worth it just to be there and experience it at least once.

Btw.. does anyone know of any hotels in the vicinity of the Parkl Hyatt that are somewhat more affordable? Have a safe flight h...

I think it was just to add a diffused feeling relating to the atmosphere in the bar.

If memory serves, its even described in the script that the music was playing and the atmosphere was "sparkling" as they looked at each other. I suppose this was the interpretation when it was put on film :)

Wow... seems we're all of one mind lol.. Squarepusher definitely hit the mark with "Tommib". And the Jesus and Mary Chain song at the end gives me that "feeling" as well. Hell, the whole Soundtrack, even "Too Young" gives me that "feeling" cuz I'm there, seeing them dance around and smoking weed in ...
