I just finished Requiem for a Dream not five minutes ago through the magic of file-sharing. Yes, I'll agree that the end was a bit farfetched, but I can honestly say that I wouldn't have noticed any of those plotholes unless they were pointed out for me, because my right brain took over, and much li...

I like Bob because I find we have some things in common. I've been described on more than one occasion as one to use dry humour and sarcasm regularly :) He's probably not so 'unpleasant' in home life, but keep in mind he's trying to portray the vibe that he is really not interested in being in Tokyo...

Yeah, the song could have been better, but this video did something really great for me. Lately, I feel like I'm almost getting 'desensitized' (if that's the right word) to LiT. (Most likely from watching it far too much). The punched in the stomach feeling kind of went on hiatus for a while. I stil...

?
I was thinking of renting this movie tonight (I rented Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind instead, see my rave elsewhere), but when I looked up a review on IMDB it looked nothing like I expected. I was expecting sort of a low-profile drama-ish kind of film, now I'm left with the impression that i...

One of the interesting things that I found out on the boards is that in the original script, they erase each other over and over. They were actually high school sweethearts that have the procedure done many times, and keep ending up back together. This is alluded to in the ending scene where they a...

Brace yourself... About Schmidt I would have to say would be mine. That Jack Nicholson could always do it for me... Speaking of The Green Mile , I'm going to have to agree 100%. It moved me a lot, but it would take a lot of coaxing to get me to admit that it was actually worth getting Tom Hanks to g...

I really enjoyed that movie.LJ Rucker wrote:Punch Drunk Love
I honestly thought I was almost the only one in the world ever to have seen it. Similarly to LiT, anyone who I happened to find that had seen the movie chose to hate it.
Now I want to see it again...

I just finished Eternal Sunshine about 10 minutes ago... Amazing stuff! This is definetly going on the shelf as my second favorite movie of all time.. theres so much more I want to say but I'm too tired right now. But I just love the way the story was played out, and I was happy to discover that the...

I used to think I was ambidextrous. I do everything left-handed except sports. (God forbid I try to brush my teeth right-handed...it would be a bloodbath.) I can throw, kick, and play tennis on either side, but in sports I use the right side. Still, I think the reason I'm dominant right-handed is t...

I was shocked to see this. I have been watching Groundhog Day often myself, lately. I wonder what's up with that ? It's kind of a comfort zone for me, because I know the movie so well... Bill does such a great job at being a bitter grumpy weatherman (similar to his role in "Scrooged") I usually fal...
