Hey Burgundy..

Yep, we are on the same page with regards to Facebook or MySpace. I don't have a ton of friends added. And I'm hoping that some old friends will reconnect with me by looking me up.

For me, the Thai movie Last Life in the Universe is a must see film. There's also a disconnected loneliness in both main characters. It's a different film in regards to presentation and plot. However, the ending has an ambiguous scene or two which makes you wonder what just happened. If you watch it...

Hmm.. well, Christmas is not too far away...

If I'm going to send you some movies this year, you can bet this one will be in the mix.

Actually Pitman, I don't think the film ends ambiguously. It's pretty clear with the bag and t-bear shot that he has returned to Japan for her. *spoiler alert* Well now, that's what we are led to believe. But if that's the case, why is the very last scene of him in the police station under arrest? ...

New LCD TV from Sharp - wow!

If you have the extra cash and you are looking to upgrade your home entertainment system..take a look at the new 65 inch Aquos from Sharp. I was walking through the Eaton Centre in Toronto, and they have a display set up in the mall. The picture quality is absolutely, hands-down the best I have ever...

I had high hopes for Broken Flowers. When I saw it there was no mistaking the similarity with LiT, especially the direction given to Bill to make his character very deadpan. But I thought the whole movie was a little contrived and forced. Bill's character was verging on comotose. Perhaps I had too g...
