I agree, leave perfection alone. Its like asking Van Gogh to reproduce one of his paintings, it just wouldnt be the same. How often do sequels work, one in ten, its not great odds. Sophia is trying to put together a body of work, she needs to move on and dazzle us with something totally different.

I just purchased the LIT soundtrack and I cant stop playing it. My friends and family think its the worst music they have ever heard, which makes me like it even more! It has a subtle sound of elevator music on acid. Its so laid back and gentle, its brilliant.

I dont want to do another movie review, I just want to share what LIT has confirmed for me, that being a traveller is the best that a human being can be. When your travelling the propensity for having LIT moments increases tenfold. When you travel you meet up with other travellers that are searching...

I think your wrong, I think Bob represents every married man in the western world. The spark has obviously gone out of his marriage and why has this happened, because his wife is thinking about every thing else but him. Why do women lose all spontiniaty after they have been married for a few years? ...

Cant wait to buy the soundtrack, Kevin Sheilds is awesome, I have only just discovered Shoegazing music thanks to LIT. I dont know how I ever missed My Bloody Valentine when I was young. I have down loaded three MP3's Blown a wish, Sometimes and Soon, they are all great songs!

I didnt think anyone under the age of 20 would get this movie. Connecting with someone so much and then having to walk away for the benefit of everyone, really hurts. I think they could have toned down the strips scene. We didnt need to see what the girl bending over had for breakfast, she could hav...

It is an addiction. This movie is like a fine wine, if flows, it has body and texture that lingers . I would hate to be Sofia, how could she ever do better than this movie? I purchased the DVD and have watched it six times! I have also gotten into Kevin Sheilds and the music he made for this movie a...

Charlotte finds inspiration!

Charlotte throughout the movie is always finding inspiration when she walks about Tokyo/Kyoto looking at new places. She never finds inspiration from the people around her except for Bob and maybe the surfers. I have thought about this a lot and I find the same thing! I find the world so fascinating...

Its true, I had never thought much about Japan before this movie, but now I hope to visit there one day! Is it true about there being no violence in Japan. Cause if the film had of been made in Sydney there would have been 5 bar brawls, they would have been chased by roaming gangs and bob would have...

I think Charlotte is mentally cheating on her husband, but thats only because he is already mentally cheating on her with his career. His career always comes before Charlotte and she is sick of coming second all the time. I think the foyer seen where Charlotte and her husband run into Kelly proves t...

Why is Charlotte............

..........so upset that Bob had a fling with the Cabaret singer?

When they are sitting in the "cook your own meat" bar for lunch, she is shiitty with him and has a go at him about them both being from the fifties.

Bob just sits there saying nothing?

When I first watched the ending of this movie I thought bob whispered "..........I will tell her when I get back". I thought he was trying to tell Charlotte that he would do the right thing and tell his wife about the one night stand that he had with the cabaret singer, thus being true to his wife a...

okay, just purchased the DVD and had my third viewing of LIT. I think Sophia has learnt that simplicity tells a better story, less is more, let the small things tell the story! Where does sophia go from here? I hope she never makes a sequel, it would never work. Does this film prove that a friendshi...
