I don't think that Maxim's demographics are similar to the LiT board's tastes. Their readership is a targeted 17-34 male audience. Anyway, found some other beautiful women lists (some made in reaction to Maxim's), but it's a rare magazine these days that DON"T have an annual beautiful women listing....

Japan ranks number 2 in list of countries with Mcdonalds
With all of jml98's posts about his Tokyo visit and his visit to a McDonalds restaurant over there, I came across these numbers while searching for information regarding the average weight of Muscovites. This surprised me very much. And if you are ever worried about having to eat strange food in for...

Japan changes name of Iwo Jima to shore up tradition in face of Hollywood onslaught TOKYO -- Japan has changed the name of the Pacific island of Iwo Jima, site of the famous World War II battle, to its original name of Iwo To after residents there were prodded into action by two recent Clint Eastwo...

I was very surprised to see Moscow top the list. Not surprised seeing London at number 2 though. I haven't been able to google up any info on how healthy Muscovites are or what their average weight is. Last year, I was surprised to read that Australians and their dogs are on average very overweight.

That fantasy is sitting with a very attractive woman discussing statistics or mathematics at some high level. (Yeah - I'm weird. The sad fact is, I'm not really kidding.) At one level or another all these women to me portray a certain intellectual maturity in their beauty (even if it's only in the ...

I'm still learning to appreciate Diane Keaton. The first movie that I really enjoyed her in was with Jack Nicholson in Something's Gotta Give. I never liked her in Annie Hall. Some actresses that I thought were both beautiful, talented and with that magical inner fire would be Katherine Hepburn and ...

Last week, my boyfriend and I drove out to Michigan to attend the funeral of his 90 year old grandfather. He led an incredibly full life. He grew up on a farm with horses pulling the plows. He experienced WWII and the Great Depression. When he and his wife were not able to have children of their own...

Second your statement about America the land of the white folk was as ridiculous as it was objectionable. Maybe it was that way in 1950 but now America is a pretty melted pot. You live in Boston and should as much any large city urban dweller know that. By 2050 caucasians in America will not be a m...

Btw, japanese people, I've found, HATE chinese people. They are always the butt of jokes, but you can tell they aren't REALLY kidding. This is a racial statement also. Why not delete this comment also? :? Is this message board to be only about the surface beauty of LiT and Japan? If so, I am very d...

There is much hate between the different Asian cultures. Much of it is because of the various wars between them over the centuries. WWII is a very sore subject with the Chinese, and rightly so. I worked in two Japanese restaurants in the Boston area and the staff at both were very nice to me. Not al...

Do open and sensitive women really want an open and sensitive man as a life partner / mate? The short answer would be yes, or at least, most women would prefer an open and sensitive man as a partner rather than his opposite. I'll try to find the article, but somewhere I read that what women want ou...

American tourists reacting to seeing Tommy Lee Jones' face on a vending machine. I think that Jones is giving a look of great intensity... he must have had the same film director that Suntory used for Bob's commercials. lol
