Today marks the 1st anniversary of the release of Lost In Translation. It was first shown at the Telluride Film Festival August 29, 2003 (Source: IMDb).
Hard to believe it's been around for a year already.
Happy Birthday, LiT !!!

Now what?
"Is there anything left to say about [i:143f9d1758]Lost in Translation[/i:143f9d1758]?
Are there any more nuggets to pan from the movie?
What more can we say about it?[/size:143f9d1758]
And, have you gone to the Criterion Collection's webpage and asked them to produce a super-zowie edition?"

Great idea about begging Criterion for a release. We may have scraped what we can from the film itself, but this site can still serve a useful function as a sort of "support-group" for other LiT'ers. Is there anything left to say about Lost in Translation?

The real fun for me here is reading the posts from those who are new to the film. It's great to hear from people who have been touched by LiT as deeply as we have, and felt compelled to find the site. I suppose we are all soulmates, to an extent.
