Does anyone know what is the dish Charlotte sends over to Bob in the Park Hyatt's New York bar?

In the book 'Lost in Translation', Geoff King says it's a 'dish of olives', but it doesn't look like it to me.

Any clues?

I thought about this too and my guess is that it's either nuts or wasabi peas.
