Cineworld in St Helens (Merseyside, UK) have two showings of Lost in Translation on Monday 27th December. Oh yes ..
It really is fecking christmas isnt it?

why do they do that, show movies from last year? LiT isn't a holiday movie, it's not considered a "classic" like Gone with the wind or something...that's really cool though, but its kinda weird....

Seems Monday is there 'classics' day .. cant see how LIT can be considered one just yet but who cares.

Yeah. Now I'll have to look and see if it's playing anywhere near Boston. Not good odds, but worth a look.
Speaking of Christmas movies, I found a weird thing the other day - First Blood (Rambo - Silvester Stallone) is a Christmas movie. I know it's off topic and not all that relevant to what we're talking about, but I just think it's funny.
By the way, at what time of the year does LIT take place? I like to watch my favourite movies during the season in which they're supposed to take place.

well, it seems to be late fall or winter, b/c its snowing when Charlotte goes to Kyoto. So, go watch it!

It was filmed during late September through late October-early November of '02. The entire shoot took 27 days/5 weeks.
