#1 Post by jml98 » Sat Jan 15, 2005 3:23 am

it seems about time for another simul-view...anybody interested? let's plan something for like maybe end of Jan. or Feb. Maybe on a weekend when people from not in the U.S. can join, and ppl that have work can too. plus, we can test out the new chat! :D

You bet! :D I sometimes work on the weekend but if there's some notice in advance i shouldn't have any trouble getting the day off!

Yea some of the people that couldnt make it before were not in the US so let's find a world friendly :) time. Let's look at some times and time zones.

When it's midnight on the USA east coast it's 4pm the next day in Sydney, Australia and yes I believe there was someone from there who expressed interest. Also same time would be 5am in London and 9pm in Pacific US west coast. Anyplace else?

Here are other corresponding times:
US PST: 3pm
US EST: 6pm
London: 11pm
Sydney: 10am

All,
Make sure you have email notification from this post and in your profile: email notification from Administrator, turned on. Last time I sent out a system wide email regarding the Multi-view a week ahead but if you did not have that option turned on (or your spam filter blocked it) then you would not have received the advance notice.

Absolutely interested.

West coast here. As long as it's a weekend, pretty much any time works.

the weekend of the 28-30th is not good for me....i guess if everyone else wanted to do it that weekend, then I have no say, but i hope that it's not :D We could do this weekend (22nd) but some people might need more notice. The weekend after next is Super Bowl weekend, maybe during then? the game is Sunday, so maybe like on that sat. most people will be home to watch the game anyway....what do u say? how do u like it?

the weekend after next sounds great. this weekend isnt good for me either and although i dont absolutely require advance notice there may be some that do..

around what time of night? i was thinking maybe 10 or 11 eastern time but that may or may not be too late for some, anyways just a suggestion :)

I'd love to be apart of it, however I know I'm going to be out of town the 2nd and 4th weekends in Feb.

If I miss it, I guess I'll just have to catch on next time.

Feb 5th at 11:00 PM EST works for me, please count me in.
It is the 1st weekend of February. The Super Bowl is the next day, Feb 6.

Is there anyone that this date/time does not work for ?

P.S. - Are you sure you're not working that weekend, jml2 ? :)
