I'm curious if anybody knows the French(?) dialogue between Bob and Charlie's friend.
also, I'm thinking that the gun the guy had was some kind of rapid-fire bb gun (especially considering the strict laws regarding firearms), but even so, how would it have created that black-light glow effect when fired?
I've found the dialogue between Bob and the commercial director, but does anybody have translation for the game show or hospital conversation?
Sorry if this has been asked before; thanks in advance for any help
Questions about the Charlie/bar scene and other translations
Moderator: Bob
i vaguely remember either a description or translation of the hospital scene, but i cannot remember where i read it (somewhere on the internet, though) This probably doesn't help much, but now you at least know that a description does exist of that scene
i couldn't tell you the same about the game show though
if you find either please post it!

Maybe if I'm able to collect enough of them, I could turn this into a comprehensive Translation thread.
To start, here's the conversation between the two Germans in the sauna (found at IMDB):
* "Cardboard! I can hardly eat all this stuff anymore!"
* "At first I was really happy ... at first, I thought ... well I thought..."
* "At the beginning, yes."
* "In Germany, I was looking forward to it, but in the meantime..."
* "Yeah. Now, some goulash..."
* "Hmmmm."
* "After this, we'll go out and get something German to eat here!"
Also from IMDB Trivia:
In the hospital, the question that the elderly man with the cane tries to ask Bob (in Japanese) is: "How many years have you been in Japan?" Meanwhile, the diagnosis that Charlotte receives from the doctor (in Japanese) is that her toe is fractured, but taping is enough.

The Japanese guy mentions the Emperor's house and Bob responds:
"Oh oui, oui. The Emperor's house? Cool."
Then I think he says something about the ocean and somebody living in France.
When Bob tells Charlotte "we started speaking English" he's sitting with a woman. She looks like the woman who later is seated to Charlotte's right as Bob sings "What's so funny..."
Feel free to contribute!
