Dreaming

#1 Post by RyanZ » Mon Apr 11, 2005 6:13 pm

Ever since I saw this movie I have started to day dream, mainly about the movie and if I will ever find a relationship like theirs'. Anyone be in a the middle of doing somthing and just stare and start thinking about the movie, happens to me quite often. It's nice to think about at times but other times it becomes depressing :( .

how long ago did you see the movie? I used to feel the same way after I watched the movie 5 nights in a row on Starz at 11 pm but that feeling went away after a month or so. I kind of want it to comeback but at the same time... well as you said its depressing at times.

I never had a LiT dream. However I had some other strange dreams of which I thought about but made little sense of what I remembered from it. Too bad you forget like 90% of your dreams the second you wake up :(

Agreed, most of my relationships are trainwrecks. Whenever I finish watching the movie it leaves me with a feeling of longing as though I want to watch it again.

I think everyone eventually falls into a relationship where they can stay "happily", although it might not be as poetic as in LIT, I think "happy" is the best most of us can hope for. I know that searching for more out of a relationship has always brought me unhappiness. C'est la vie...
I'm still lost...

As soon as the lingering feelings start to fade I watch the movie again & it still hits me quite hard....It's like a drug that puts you back in that fuzzy dreamstate somewhat numb to the environment...that nostalgic feeling.

I know exactly what you mean. I have "day-dreamed" about LIT as well, it does give you that warm fuzzy feeling when watching it. especially the end, kills me everytime haha. But it does add the lonely nostalgic feeling with it as well which I wouldn't consider it a bad thing, I actually like the feeling sometimes. :)

"they" say if you keep you eyes closed when you wake up you will remember, but who remembers the keep there eyes closed when waking up lol.

The feeling of LiT is quite a strange one, no?

I'm hit by it after a great night with someone special...
When I stay up late at night, and begin to think about life in general...
When I feel utterly disconnected from everyone in my life...
When I listen to the soundtrack and/or look at photos of Tokyo...

And, naturally, when I watch the movie.

P.S. I feel like that whenever I come to these forums...

This feeling is just apart of me now, I don't think it can wear off. It'll just stay with me, sometimes it'll hit harder than others is all.

Usually, when I'm alone I'll get it.
