Alright, I'll just throw out a date here and see what people think. If any of you that are interested could just reply saying if this works, and if not then suggest when would work for you, we can try and get as many people as possible.

For those of you who don't know what a simul-view is, we all meet in a chat room at the same time, and start the movie at the same time. If you can't make it right at the start, no problem. I've come in late before and was able to tell about where everybody else is in the movie and fast forward to catch up. Then we just talk while the movie is playing. You can see the logs from the past simul-views here, here, and here.

Time: Noon Pacific (3pm Eastern, 8pm UK)

Thx again for doing this. This just makes me more determined to save my $$$ so I can go to Tokyo and see the sites.

I stickied it and I think I fixed the chat. Check it out!

The chat options are set in a way for the movie so it takes longer to determine if someone is still there or away.

If this is a not a good date can try for the early Oct date.

hey so when we do this, how can i get the movie? is it gonna be playng in the chat room via some program or something,? cuz i dont have it please help me get it.....

I believe we are going to just have our own copies of the movie playing in our individual homes.... and we all just start the movie at the same time so we would all be "in essence" watching the movie together.

This is my first time attending one of these so correct me if Im wrong

I believe Germany is one hour ahead of the UK, so it'd be 9pm.

you have to have the film already. just pop the dvd in your computer and then you can just chat/comment with other people in this forum (they will be a chat room) as the movie plays.

you won't be at the exact same point in the film as everyone else, but it shouldn't be that far off (a couple seconds maybe)

I believe it is still official since no one else has requested a different time or date.

I unfortunately will not be able to make it as for me it's 1pm on a Sunday so with a wife and 4 month old, no way. But have fun and look forward to reading the transcript!
