I'll believe it when the CD is in my hands or I'm watching them on stage. :P

Where, in London? When? The only tour dates I can find online are in summer of 2008 in the UK so far. . . . Any tour links?!

In Glasgow, I think they are only playing in Manchester, London and Glasgow and only a very few dates.

And there all sold out as far as I know.

I wish I lived in Glasgow. I love Camera Obscura, Belle & Sebastian, Lloyd Cole & the Commotions.. I would be run out of town there, though, because I have no interest in football.
I'd rather be a gear in a big, deterministic, physical machine than just some random swerving.

This might be old news to some of you, but My Bloody Valentine is releasing a 4CD + DVD box set in Japan. It contains remastered version of Isn't Anything and Loveless.

More info here:
http://www.thedailyswarm.com/headlines/ ... ease-date/

I found two places to buy it:
1) http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=SICP-1851
2) http://www.hmv.co.jp/Product/detail.asp?sku=2712847

I found that the HMV was cheaper and the total (including shipping) came to 5,229 yen (around $49.91 USD) for delivery to Canada. The other site's total was about 6,290 yen (around $60.04 USD).

If you have trouble browsing the HMV site, there is an option to change the language to "English" at the top left corner.

I was there for the first 3 london shows

got to talk to kevin at the after party for a long time

-- we will never hear city girl live forget about it

-- he was really happy with the way sometimes was used in the film

-- Him and sofia dont talk too much but she will be at the paris show

-- Sometimes has never been played live, but kevin promised it would be finally played on this tour...they have practiced it, everyone is on guitar including colm the drummer...if one does the math we might hear it at the paris show

That's cool you went and spoke to Kevin, keep us posted! It's too bad he won't play City Girl live. Did he give any reason why?!

MBV are due in Toronto on Sept 25th.

I'm not going, but a friend of mine is. I will hear back from her how the show was.

Late here but I saw them when they came through Seattle this spring.
It was everything I hoped it to be, especially the 'holocaust' at the end during You Made Me Realise. Awesome to feel the sound crawling all over your skin and hear the aural tricks your brain plays under such an assault.

They didn't play Sometimes though :(
