Yikes!
That's what an unsealed near mint copy of the LIT soundtrack LP sold for on ebay today. Did anyone here place the winning bid?

after my holiday, i think it'll be a while before I'm in a fit bidding state for anything!

eventually i'll see if i can get round to purchasing a copy of the picturebook that was released alongside the film.....it would be nice to get hold of something like an original script or some other piece of production used memorabilia....but so far i've not seen anything :(

WOW that's a lot, I only paid about £25 for mine.

I just managed to get hold of a Japanese picture disc version for £20 (from the same guy I bought the other one off so he gave me discount!) as well...there's a few listed right now:

We should post pictures of our LiT collections :)

I just bought a copy of the sountrack CD with picture book -- for (inl. shipping) $114.99 USD.

Ironically, because I live in England, and because of the exchange rate right now, that's barely any cheaper than the price in the thread title for just over half a year ago. Yowza!

I also ordered from this seller and mine came today so thank you for pointing it out. I'm probably ruining it right now by actually listening to it on my ancient turntable but I couldn't resist.

bought one too...thanks for the tip...

question; can you play this on a record player without damaging the print?

I've played it twice now and there's no visible scratching, even on the small print and pictures on side B. My turntable is low quality and very old, but it does have a newer needle.

I imagine that with repeated playings it would begin to show damage just like any record.
