My lit collection

#1 Post by thermoptic » Thu Sep 11, 2008 8:37 am

Hi! Just wanted to show my collection of Lost in translation collectibles. The Album is the japanese version of the soundtrack. The Dvd version is aslo the japanese. In the background is the promo poster for the Dvd when it was released. And finally the Promo book that took me years to get a hold of, feels relly good to have it!

These where the things that i felt i just had to get my hands on :) If you have any more tips on collectibles please post!

Oh and post your own photos if you have some nice collections or collectibles to show! :)

I really adore the Japanese DVD/CD cover with Charlotte on the front! If I had enough money to splash out on a copy I would!

I have a replica owl Bob gives to Charlotte during the hospital visit. Part of it is grey rather than all white but it is very cool nonetheless. And what's more, I obtained it through a contact on this forum!

Would anyone know where I might be able to find a poster of the Japanese DVD cover, as show in the original post of this thread?

Kind Regards :)

Does anyone know where I can find the Japanese soundtrack? Been looking all over but unable to find a store that has them.

Hey SuperDuper, you can actually still get it from Amazon.co.jp:

http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/switch-langu ... uage=en_JP

You can click show the page in English to navigatate around more easily.

Mike

Thanks for the link, but...

I can basically proceed to checkout with that link but then none of the store/sellers can actually ship to North America (Canada in my case). Is there something I am missing?

You can get it on Amazon.com as an import although it's pretty expensive, but it ships from Japan.

What's the extra track on the Japanese soundtrack? "50 Floors Up"? Is that just the hidden karaoke track on the US CD?

I have the Japanese one and the extra track is 50 Floors Up (but off the top of my head I can't think when it's used in the film) by Brian Reitzell with Bill's karaoke track after that. So, no they're not the same thing.
