Hello, everyone,
you might believe me (or you might not), but I have contacted Mark Willms (THE Mark Willms, yes) regarding his rendition of So into you that we all know and love, and he had written to me in an e-mail on September 2nd of this year that he has a CD coming out in November, on which this song is to appear.
Now, I need to ask you whether you had heard anything of this, heard it on the radio or seen it anywhere. I couldn't find a trace on the Internet. I hope this is good news for you, I definitely would like to listen to the song in full.

Yours

Łukasz

Ps. For those who do not believe: I don't know if I can post the e-mail from Mark WIllms here, so I am not going to, but it exists, believe me.

I haven't heard anything, but his website has changed to just a link to his MySpace page which says "new album to be released SOON". Don't see any other information on there though.

Great news if it's true. I'll keep an eye out for it.

Is true.
I got an e-mail (automated or not) from him today.

The rendition is not as good as in the film, but does sound nice.

It's a cover. Originally by Atlanta Rhythm Section

You can listen to the whole song on his Myspace page:

It's decent enough, but I think I'll take the movie version (though I'm obviously biased). The woo-hoo is much more emphatic in the movie too.

(I'll change my avatar back in honor of the woo-hoo guy!)

Hello,
Does anyone know if the track "So Into You" has ever been recorded, exactly
as it sounds in the movie....?

Yes. It has.
And it is as amazing as you would imagine it would be.

Me and young girl called Natalia managed to get in touch with Catherine Lambert who was kind enough to give us her songs and the one by Mark.

I created a thread for all this, stop by and have a look  viewtopic.php?t=1040

Great post! I love the passion and effort in curating and distilling all the minutiae in this movie. I do love the "woo hoo" scene, as Bob and Charlotte are trying to come to terms with saying goodbye to each other, sitting in the bar. Seeing that the house band has changed is so symbolic and parallels the coming change in their lives as they both return home.

Fantastic! I just listened to the link....and equally as entertaining as the recording itself are the comments at the bottom, hearing people share their feelings and reactions to the song/scene.
