Not spamming, but I have been on a site called
www.justin.tv and people can play movies / dvds on line. It even has a chat feature so that everyone watching the movie can talk to each other, etc..
Im on this site and my channel is
www.justin.tv/moviesign53
If you guys want, I can try to put together a viewing night or sumthin. Or maybe even Bob-san can get an account and he can host. You do have to sign up but the process is painless.
Im just throwing it out there to see if anyone may be up for it. I will also be playing LIT on rotation on the channel

"...Stay here, with me...."
The Search for Charlotte continues....

i think this could be good for some kind of simulview, although i think just about everyone has a copy of lit here so perhaps if somebody had something that was related and interesting we could use this?

This is an EXCELLENT idea! This solves the problem of people syncing up their own personal copies and having to use the chat function on the site. I'm going to look into this. . .

Sure why not since we didn't have one in Sept. We should see who would be interested and how this site justin.tv works.

I signed up on justin.tv and favorited and friended Flyonthewall and his channel! I think that's a start so anyone who is interested sign up and do the same!
I'm not sure how to put an entire movie on there and Flyonthewall already has so then he can host!

Definately interested in this.
How do you guys normally coordinate between different time zones? I mean, it would be kind of hilarious to hear that most of you are sipping Japanese whiskey to get in the mood and everything, while I'm watching this at breakfast with Postman Pat running in the background
I'd suggest/vote for either friday or saturday. Mondays and wednesdays would work well too.

The relevant details are now being discussed in this topic:
viewtopic.php?t=953
Please respond there now, I will close this one. Thanks!
Marko: you can find past topics on how we did this, we figure out what time it is in different zones and then get an idea of what can work best for most people.
