Character names

Has anyone noticed that Charlotte sounds like Scarlett and Bob is also simlar to Bill? Is this coincidence or was it was it intended by Sofia ?

I'm sure that Sofia already had those names before she even intended casting Scarlett.

I think it was intended. We all know Sofia had Bill in mind when writing the script, but I also think she has Scarlett in mind also.

I think what would have been even cooler is if Scarlett hadn't been given a name at all. Her name is only used very infrequently, as it is. There's the phone call to Lauren, Bob's call to Charlotte, and John's introduction of her to Kelly. Does anyone else have one they can name ?
Of course, it would have made it a bit more difficult for us to discuss her, and the credits would have been a challenge...
Bob Harris sounds a bit like "Bob Zemeckis", too...hmmm...

Now that I think about it, does Bob ever call Charlotte by her name or vice versa? I'm thinking nay.

The only times I can remember them using their names was when leaving messages on their phones (i.e when Charlotte invited Bob to go out with her and her friends the second time, and when Bob rang Charlotte just before leaving the hotel).
