I've been fortunate enough to go to London, Oxford, Bath, and Windsor/Eton. I had a great time.

I just finished flunking the third module in my Community College Computer Information Systems program. I would be hard pressed to find common ground with THOSE credentials!

I visited those cities as a rotten American tourist...not as a student. God, I never even graduated from college, even though I went for seven years.

Is that a real read or a simulated read?

I didn't realize that "The Illustrated History of Duran Duran" was such a large volume, JM. :P

Actually, this photo is all about the subtleties. It was taken prior to John's wedding. Notice the absence of both a wedding band and straight-jacket (or was that just my wedding ?). Notice the folks on each of JM's shoulders ? The ones on the left are the angels telling him to ignore the sexpot with the camera sitting across from him, and act like he's really reading. The one on the right is the dark prince (love that shirt, I've got one just like it), telling him to ditch the book, and hook up with the photographer. I think we know which side probably won.

Also, that chair looks very comfy. I want one for Christmas. Not too sure about that non-confrontational coffee-bar artwork, though.

I'm really starting to enjoy this lounge area. :)

That's one of those oddly-named jazz groups, isn't it?"

Hi i'm new a university student. Really bored feel isolated where I am. Want to travel see the world. I love nightime in cities. I like trance music like tiesto. Don't have any true friends, all my freinds are stupid are very inconsiderate and materialistic.

I feel like bob and charlotte; trying to talk to people who just don't understand who just can't understand the way others feel.

Welcome NightDreamer and synasp! This is an exceleent place to come if you feel lost. Actually - it's an excellent place to come no matter what. Full of wonderful, non-judgemental people where you can share your heart or just share a laugh.

You'll love it here!

Hey, im new here too. And i've read many many posts on this site. I just didn't know so many people were moved by this film. Everyone around me in my life doesnt like it, they just don't get it i guess.. and all they want to see in their movies are explosions i suppose

Anyhow. Im from Belgium, am 20 years old. And like many i feel a tad lost right now. Just got out of a long relationship (2j 4m) and it was my first relationship. Seems we had grown further away from each other and it was best to break up. Being a bit of a romantic.. i dont feel entirely at peace with that decision. but thats just the way it is. I feel like i need to build up a new life really, and thats hard.

Hello, everyone!
I'm in my mid 30's, married w/ kids, live in Chicago, work all day as a PC tech for a school district, go to school at night where I hope to achieve my Bachelors degree in Visual Communication.
I wanted to add myself to the long line of people here who love this movie. I rented LiT last year on DVD with my wife; she liked it- I absolutley LOVED it. I feel a deep connection with this movie, (as we all do), and I'm happy that I've found that so many people have been impacted by this film like I have. I bought the DVD yesterday and watched it at work on my laptop. :) What can I say? I'm lost in LiT!
