I like mostly indie music.. it's not a rule or anything though. Right now I'm listening to Monster Hospital by Metric. Also on the playlist is Muse, The Postal Service, and Primitive Radio Gods.
I'd rather be a gear in a big, deterministic, physical machine than just some random swerving.

Franz Ferdinand, "Lynsey Wells". Saw them in concert on Saturday, they're awesome in every way imaginable. And they just keep getting better.

I went to an Alkaline Trio show recently and they did a cover of an old Misfits song called "Some Kinda Hate" which was really fun to hear. So I've been in a classic punk sort of mood lately;listening to bands like: The Misfits, The Ramones, The Clash, D.R.I., Suicidal Tendencies, Minor Threat;etc.

Just been listening to Crazy by Gnarls Barkley, such a cool song! :D

No relation to Crazy, but I think it's great how their remixing old 80s tunes atm, makes me very nostalgic, lol.

Rediscovered Booker T and the MGs

Steve Cropper on guitar and Duck Dunn on bass - both were part of the Blues Brothers band.

This band also backed Sam and Dave (Soul Man, Hold On) and Eddie Floyd (Knock on Wood) - and I have been listening to some of those songs also.
