Naughty word filter?

#1 Post by sc1957 » Sun May 02, 2004 3:29 pm

I notice that when I include words like "associate" and "assume" (that's a-s-s-o-c-i-a-t-e and a-s-s-u-m-e) in a post, they come out looking strange. If there's a naughty-words filter, I think it's wound too tight.

the naughty word filter is a little hypocritical....the lyrics for the Peaches Song "F*ck the pain away" is uncensored, yet when i write "a**" in a response in a forum, it is censored....

should there really be a filter in the first place? I mean, people on this board are decent and don't think will use bad words
