I really enjoyed watching this film:

They interview people who have settled to live in Japan and what is has been like for them.
They also get into the differences and problems in Japanese society which foreigners may not like and have difficulty with which is good to know.
But yet these people have found things they love about living there.

Thanks for posting. I’ve watched the first video link. I enjoyed it. Great format of documentary that I don’t think I’ve experienced before; getting viewpoints from a dozen very different and interesting people (in this case foreigners living in Japan, talking about the early days, transitions, struggles and joys, etc).
