After reading what Lost In Boston wrote about his experience as a foreigner in Tokyo, it occured to me that there are a lot of topics about Japan & Japanese Culture that a LIT fan may want to know or question or talk about. So I created this forum for general discussion about these things. I know a lot of people here have not visited Tokyo yet but if anyone is planning a trip or wants to know more about travel to Japan this would be a good place to talk about it. Traveler etiquette and customs are also an interesting topic for discussion given the differences between western and Japanese customs and culture. Then there is the adoption of western culture into Japan that is fascinating. I hope over time this forum may be useful for people to learn about the different cultures and make use of it when traveling or meeting people from Japan or other cultures.
