Satelite Channel has Asian programs including about Japan

#1 Post by Bob_san » Thu Jul 19, 2007 3:15 pm

I just switched from cable to DISH and there is a channel called Colours I never saw before. They have a lot of eastern/asian/island programming. One program is called "Black Life in Japan". I DVR'd that one and some others to see what they're about. The one ep I saw about black life in japan was about a guy from Africa who started two of the now hottest clubs in Tokyo. The other show is some kind of Entertainment Tonight clone about media events in Japan. Kind of boring.

They also have Bollywood shows like Asian Variety Show (AVS) which feature clips and news about Bollywood movies and stars.

I wish I had channels like that :) The only Japanese TV I can watch is MXC  .
I'd rather be a gear in a big, deterministic, physical machine than just some random swerving.
