#4 Post by maefairy » Wed Nov 10, 2004 9:41 pm

i found a site (in english) that carries the smaller monseuil owls but not the large one that was in the movie.
i've tried emailing them to see if they can order it in other sizes, but i keep getting mailer daemons when i do.

the link in the first post has stopped working. can anyone post a transcript or something? :P
I'd rather be a gear in a big, deterministic, physical machine than just some random swerving.

I know this has probably been gone over too many times.
But has anyone here been able to purchase the owl?
The only luck i have had is with that one website in Canada that sells the smaller ones, but i am after one of the bigger ones.

that littlefootprints shop is out of order :-\ ...at least they do not pick up the phone, never call back, do not answer telefax and their email is offline...

I wrote an email to monseuil.co.jp, he wanted >13,000 JPY for a tiny owl including delivery to europe (they are totally crazy, what a pitty!!!)...

anyone has any suggestions where to buy the owl instead?

Wow that's pricey!
I wish an american website would sell them,or atleast they'd make it easier on their website (ordering in english) to order.
I'm sure if they did, lots of LIT fans would gladly place an order, including myself.

It's a much smaller version though. However, worth buying.

nice! but it's a lot smaller when you have a comparison to gauge the size (if I remember correctly, it's about the size of a clenched fist). In all of Tokyo, I could only find 1 large one. But boy, these are the cutest owls ever.

Yes, the one in the film is larger, it looks huge on Murray's hands.
This owl is just so beautiful!! too bad it costs a lot.
Nothing is more beautiful than something that will not last
