To anyone who is willing...screensaver

#1 Post by ForRelaxingTimes » Thu Mar 15, 2007 12:55 am

attention all you computer savvy/LIT obsessed individuals...I have an idea.

I was wondering if it was possible to make a screensaver out of the LIT DVD Main Menu? you know the "Bladerunner-esque" Tokyo skylight with the slow blinking red lights. Just take out the title and menu options and there is the screensaver..does anyone like this idea? And can anyone do it? :D

Other than the blinking lights and a little bit of movement on the street in one of the corners it's pretty stationary so I don't know how well that would work as a 'screen saver'.

That said, I think it's a really good idea and I'd use it. :)

You guys all have DVD players on your computers right? There are plenty of programs that capture still frames of DVDs.

Couldn't you take a few caputres and make them into a screensaver slideshow or something?

Ooh, sounds like a good idea! Anyone had a go yet?

I have to confess though I haven't got the DVD yet, I should be getting it tomorrow actually. :D

No not yet, I am in the process of moving to a new place so I won't be doing it until then. My dvd is already packed up.
